The Feast of St. Annes

The Patronal Festival of the Sisters of St. Anne will be observed on Sunday, July 30, 2017. The mass will be here at Church of the Ascension at 11 a.m., followed by the luncheon at the Convent, 1125 N. Lasalle. The Sisters of St. Anne invite you, one and all, to celebrate their Patronal Festival Day with joy and thanksgiving. 

News & Update

We are in the process of starting a recovery home for women who wants to work towards sobriety and a new life. We will give you the date of operation later. We are waiting to get the permit from the city, otherwise we could start long ago.

St. Anne’s day celebration:

Our Patronal celebration day is July 26 annually. We celebrated yesterday evening with mass in our chapel and supper afterwards .  The church did not have a mass this morning.  We will be celebrating again next sunday  31st of July with our associates, benefactors friends, parishoners from Church of the Ascension and others. We invite you one and all  to come and participate with us. The mass is at 11.am at the church of ascension and lunch at the convent after the mass.

If you are in need of housing for a period of time, we have space for women attending school in Chicago.  We only ask for a nominal donation.

English Classes

Sr. Barbara Louis, OSA  is teaching English conversation for any adult non-speakers.  She also teaches American History . The classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4pm. It is free and it is our service to the community. If you are interested please call or send an e-mail. We will be happy to assist you.

Vocations

We are currently seeking religious vocations from single women from 18-50 years old, without any family obligations, who are interested in a dedicated life to Christ. You might also wish to explore a second life vocation with our order.
